News Letter. Friday 12th November 2021

Over the past few weeks a film crew have been using part of our car park as a base whilst filming in Nottingham.

This week they are here again over the weekend and perhaps into next week too.

The business on the site are OPEN AS NORMAL and are not in anyway effected. 

Please use the large car park on the right hand side as you turn into site. There is always a surplus of spaces available. Ample disabled spaces are also available directly outside the stores for your convenience.

All parking at Japanese Water Gardens is free of charge. 


 


We still have a small selection of Koi for sale and they have now been reduced in price to clear.

It will be Easter next year before the new stock arrives.

Currently we have all Koi in our main pond BUY 2 GET 1 FREE.




 

Over the last few years we have seen an unprecedented number of cases of low Ph in customers ponds. The effects of the problem can, and have been extremely severe. Many fish have died before the problem has been diagnosed by the pond keeper.

The sad thing is that this is one problem that can very very easily be treated or avoided entirely. Testing Ph takes only a few seconds and should be done at least fortnightly. pH testing kits are not expensive and the test is simple and easy to complete.

We have a range of useful products such as pH and KH test kits, Oyster Shells and KH buffer powder.

It is always better to be prepared and not wait until there is a problem. Do not under estimate how damaging low pH can be.

If you visit the store with a sample of pond water we will gladly test your pH and KH for free.
