Pond Builder Pack Gravity Fed Nexus 320+

This pack is an ideal choice for those constructing a  medium to large size Koi pond with bottom drain fed filtration. It will include a Nexus 320+ filter system, Varipump 20,000, 55watt UV, two Air pumps, wall mounted skimmer and a high quality Aerated bottom drain. You will also be provided with an appropriate selection pipework and fittings to enable your to start constructing of your pond. 

Nexus filters are probably the most widely used and recognizable systems in the Koi hobby today. They are manufactured in the UK by the award winning Evolution Aqua and are designed to be compact and simple to maintain. The cleaning process is achieved by utilizing an air compressor for agitation, followed by the opening of valves to sluice dirt to waste.

Varipump by Evolution Aqua is a controllable pond pump, suitable for large ponds. Output and energy consumption can be controlled at the push of a button allowing you to set the flow rate to your needs. The 20,000 unit will have more than sufficient output to operate both your filter system and skimmer unit with ease. During the winter months the output can be reduced to enable some significant energy savings.

Every pond needs a UV clarifier to ensure crystal clear algae free water. In this set we have the very capable 55watt UV from Evolution Aqua. It will be able to maintain a system of up to 20,000 Litre.

Questions and answers.

Do I get absolutely ever item I will need to complete my build? If not what others items am I likely to need?

It is almost certain that you will need to purchase extra pipework and fittings to complete your installation. No structural building materials are provided in the packs. Our pond packs are designed to provide the core items that everyone will require to get there build well underway. With careful use of the items provided you can expect to receive sufficient pipe work and fittings to cast your base and build up the walls of the pond. This is of course dependent on the size of the build and individual circumstances.

 

Is delivery included in the purchase price?

Deliver to most locations in England and Wales is included free of charge.  Deliveries to Scotland  may be possible depending on the location. Please contact us please contact us directly for more information.

 

Where can I get more help with the design or construction of my pond?

YouTube has some great content that will help you learn the basics of Koi pond construction.

I recommend you watch some of the videos from “Lee Calladine”. The “How to Build a Block Work Koi Pond” is an old video but still extremely relevant and should not be missed. I would also recommend the “Step by Step Drum Filter Install” not only will this video help with a drum filter it is equally useful for anyone installing a Nexus.
