Umbrella Palm

Umbrella Palm so-called because of the shape of its umbels of grassy spikelets. This tropical-looking plant from Africa is an evergreen perennial forming a clump of erect stems up to 60cm tall ending in a whorl of dark green grassy leafy bracts and brings a real exotic look to the pond when planted in the margins.
